psychology of eclipses

Eclipses and divorce

I can only give my own opinion on this, but I found lunar eclipses and eclipses in general very difficult when I was married to the wrong man.   I noticed that we would disagree and argue much more and things would come to a head.

It seemed at the eclipse my life was illuminated, and I could see or perhaps feel more clearly what was not working right.   My intuition kept yelling at me:  “Get away from this man, he’s very bad for you!”   I’d love to see a study correlating eclipses and the beginning of divorce proceedings.

When I finally got a divorce and then married the right man, eclipses got a lot better!   They can still be challenging, but I don’t wonder about my marriage anymore.   Instead I wonder about other problems in my life.

When you are finally ready to find the right partner for YOU, be sure to check out my new book:   How to Believe in LOVE Again: Opening to forgiveness, trust and your own inner wisdom.

Are you ready for the lunar eclipse plus winter solstice?

Think what you will about astrology, my personal experiences with eclipses have convinced me that there may be something to them. Why?   Because my 50th birthday fell on a solar eclipse, a few months after I met the love of my life. Absolutely everything was influx in my life, and it all turned out great!

Astrologists say solar and lunar eclipses intensify what is already happening.   Learn more about this eclipse at the website Zodiac Arts:

“A lunar eclipse is a time of beginnings, endings, exposure and major changes.   It always has something to do with relationships.   Actions taken at the time of an eclipse often do not have the expected result, but they do bring increased awareness and enlightenment.   The energy of an eclipse is at its strongest during the 2 days before and 3 days after its occurrence.

At lunar eclipse we merge, unite, announce, contact, present ourselves, bring something out into the open, make decisions, engage, rise to the challenge, make an effort, change, get a new perspective, join with others, experience excitement or crisis.”

I say, at the very least, it’s a fun time to become more aware of the heavens above us and simply look up!   So look tonight and consider how small your problems really are.
